Think this forum has been quite quiet since the last few contributions..
I shall post my first contribution for tummy yummy, chill out laze back food places.

First up is:

Altazzag Egyptian Restaurant
24 Haji Lane, Tel: 6295 5024

Located at the junction of Haji Lane and Baghdad Street, this quaint little Egyptian restaurant is a good place to unwind and ease the stress away. Tucked away in a corner along the narrow lane, it offers more privacy, even if you're sitting along the five-foot-way. Compared to the other similar joints along the other streets, eg Ambrosia at 19 Baghdad Street, you won't find cars parked in front of the restaurant. Indeed, it just seems like the perfect place to take off your shoes, sit back and relax over a cuppa.
